| 概要 | This study created a brain-wide profile of amyloid-beta plaque deposition in nine-month-old female 5xFAD mice and related it to memory impairment. High plaque loads appeared in somatosensory and piriform cortices, thalamus, and dorsal and ventral hippocampus, while several brainstem and hypothalamic regions showed none. Correlation mapping revealed tightly related deposition across hippocampus, medial prefrontal and somatosensory cortices, medial amygdala, and thalamus. The results provide an anatomical reference for the model and suggest that coordinated pathology across memory-related networks may contribute to cognitive deficits. |
