| 概要 | As a consequence of people’s increasing sense of urgency about environmental and climate concerns, knowledge about the environment and sustainable solutions is becoming increasingly relevant and popular in academic courses across the globe. In addition, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 acknowledges the significance of education in promoting sustainable development, sustainable lifestyles, human rights, social responsibility, the circular economy, and the greening of our economy and society. This chapter presents a new conceptual framework that allows for a comprehensive investigation of the possible incorporation of environmental sustainability into academic programs and fields of study. The main result was a technology that merges the procedural and substantive obligations of institutions. The instrument was improved according to the suggestions made by the specialists who evaluated it. The expert evaluation determined that the content validity was adequate (LL > 0.60; Aiken’s V > 0.80). The pilot test also showed that the instructions and items were well grasped by the participants, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.862. The created tool is used to find out how well the Environmental Education System (EES) has been applied in the procedural and substantive activities of colleges and universities. The content of the instrument is valid, and the levels of understanding and clarity for the target group are suitable. |
