| 概要 | This review compares the contributions of the amino-acid precursors tryptophan and tyrosine to executive function and reward processing. Tryptophan influences serotonin synthesis, whereas tyrosine supports catecholamine production; both can therefore alter mood, learning, cognitive control, and responses to reward or punishment. The article integrates supplementation and depletion studies and emphasizes that executive processes and reward valuation causally influence one another. Effects vary with baseline neurochemical state, task demands, and individual differences, so precursor administration is unlikely to produce a universal cognitive benefit. These interactions guide more precise future experiments. |
