| 概要 | This book chapter reviews deep brain stimulation as a method for modulating memory in health and disease. It surveys preclinical and human evidence across targets including the fornix, hippocampal and entorhinal networks, nucleus basalis, and other memory-related circuits. Outcomes depend strongly on target, stimulation timing, frequency, disease stage, and the memory process being engaged; identical stimulation can enhance, disrupt, or leave memory unchanged. The chapter considers candidate cellular and network mechanisms, clinical applications in cognitive disorders, and the safety, ethical, and methodological challenges that must guide translation |
