概要	This study compares conventional Positive and Negative Affect Schedule scores with automated sentiment analysis of freely generated text. It asks whether the two approaches are equally sensitive to experimentally influenced mood and to stable personality traits. The measures captured overlapping but nonidentical aspects of affect, showing different patterns of association with situational mood and individual dispositions. Sentiment analysis therefore offers a useful complementary measure rather than a direct substitute for PANAS. Combining structured self-report with language-based assessment may improve affect measurement while reducing dependence on a single response format.
