| 概要 | This review examines major depressive disorder as both a circuit disorder and a condition involving altered neuroimmune signaling. It evaluates how deep brain stimulation of depression-related targets may influence microglia, inflammatory cytokines, neuroendocrine pathways, synaptic plasticity, and communication between peripheral immunity and the brain. Evidence from animal models and clinical studies suggests that immune modulation may contribute to antidepressant effects alongside direct network changes. The authors identify substantial mechanistic gaps and propose inflammatory biomarkers and longitudinal immune measures to improve target selection, response prediction, and personalized stimulation strategies. |
