| 概要 | Amphawa is a renowned floating market and cultural destination located 63 kilometers west of Bangkok. Known for its authentic atmosphere, it attracts mainly Thai visitors with its canals, riverside scenery, traditional wooden shop-houses, local cuisine, and cultural heritage. Visitors can enjoy boat tours, explore orchards and temples, shop for local products, and experience the community’s unique charm. While once famous for firefly-viewing tours, shopping and food tourism have become its main attractions. The market and surrounding businesses have expanded significantly, increasing its appeal to both domestic and international tourists. Amphawa’s blend of heritage preservation and tourism development continues to drive its growing popularity. |
