"Local Newspapers and the Post-Earthquake and Tsunami Reconstruction in Iwate Prefecture" -- The chapter studies a local newspaper, Iwate Nippo, and a community newspaper, Tokai Shimpo, in Iwate Prefecture, regarding their news coverages of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami reconstruction. The coastline of Iwate Prefecture experienced severe damages of the huge tsunami, so the study mainly focused on how they covered the tsunami-caused damages.
