Details In Japanese language education for international students, it is very important to nurture their ability to build human relations with people around them as members of Japanese society and local communities in the process of language learning. In this report, we compile the responses obtained from a follow-up survey of students who participated in a Short-term Intensive Japanese Language Program implemented in AY2022 through questionnaires and interviews conducted multiple times from the start of the program to one year after its completion, and analyze the results from the three perspectives of (1) Japanese language skills, (2) intercultural competence, and (3)  the ability to become lifelong autonomous learners.
