| 概要 | The SDGs are widely recognized by the public in Japan. This is because the private sector and local government find the SDGs useful in order to show their achievements in CSR, sustainability, and globalization in the context of the SDGs. The Government of Japan stresses aspects of the SDGs that contribute to local development and sustainability inside Japan over those that contribute to international development. Thus, the SDGs and international development are decoupled, and the latter is inclined to be left behind. This tendency is accentuated in Japan. |
