Details Japanese firms that aimed the long-term stable growth and allocate their resource for that seem to be unsuitable to the environment of recent society which needs invisible needs. So in this study, previous studies about new product development of Japanese firms are reviewed and those features are revealed. Additionally, management characteristics of Japanese firms have become clear through the comparison of previous literatures with American management. And the introduction of American management system by Japanese firms likely is very dangerous for them. Finally, a hypothesis is suggested that fundamental concept is based on long-term and accumulation.
