概要 | MAP, a theory of the virtues of man, is derived from the ongoing research of Phillip D. Pardo on knightly virtues and how they apply to modern Management. Taking samples of early influential concepts of Chivalric Codes of European medieval knights, Bushido of Japanese samurai and Ksatria's virtues of Indonesian warriors, this research finds that although they were established in different eras and places, several equivalent virtues, if not the same, exist as commonalities among them: Mastery, Altruism and Passion (MAP). This book will re-examine the history of the many traditions of knighthood, and through reflection upon those virtues, present a new model (MAP - Mastery, Altruism and Passion) for application of these virtues to the practice of business in the modern age. |
