概要	I serve as President of Oita JALT (Japanese Association of Language Teachers). This is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement of language teaching and learning with nearly 3,000 members in chapters across Japan. I am the President of the Oita Chapter which has 40 members, mostly university English teachers. We put on events related to language teaching and had 7 events last year that were attended by 15-20 people per event.
