概要	The tourism industry holds significant potential to advance women's rights, equality, and empowerment, yet gender inequalities remain in areas such as leadership, workforce representation, and socio-cultural influence. Aligned with the International Women's Day 2025 theme, a webinar will explore the role of women in tourism in Asia, focusing on how the sector can drive gender equality. It will address trends, challenges, and strategies for empowering women through economic, psychological, socio-cultural, and political means. Featuring experts from the World Travel and Tourism Council, a book editor on gender in tourism, and a woman leader in community-based tourism in the Philippines, the event aims to share best practices, success stories, and actionable strategies to promote women's rights in the industry.
