概要	This webinar explores crucial themes relating to the current development of island tourism. The inherent isolation of island societies has changed with their new-found accessibility in the era of low-cost airlines. The exploding popularity of islands despite their limited resources is one of several key issues that have strongly affected how island tourism has developed. This webinar will highlight the challenges of island tourism by analyzing how authenticity and storytelling are used to attract tourists to the Greek island of Ios and by presenting a case study in sustainable operations based on the experience of Attitude Hotels. Further, the webinar examines the proliferation of short-term accommodation rentals in Cyprus, including market limitations of hotel distribution in island tourism.
