| 概要 | Local stakeholders in Parisian tourism are grappling with the question of how to reinvent tourism in the post-COVID context. The central issue is how to better anchor tourism within the city, in order to “break free from the tyranny of tourism revenue and avoid a form of tourism that is disconnected from the city—one that no longer draws its inspiration from the city itself but almost exclusively from its past and its old clichés ” (City of Paris, Paris Tourism Conference).
This webinar explores the conditions that could foster a renewed engagement by residents of the Paris metropolitan area in post-COVID tourism, enabling a fresh appreciation of local expertise, culture, heritage, and the art of living. |
