Item | Cultural Predicaments and Solutions in Group Assignments in Diverse International Classroom Settings |
Details | As educational environments become increasingly diverse with international full-time and exchange students , cross-cultural communication issues and cultural influence in the classroom become more salient. The project examines survey results from students in a variety of courses at a university with a student body representing more than 80 different nationalities each year. Based on student interviews and feedback , the project discusses the difficulties for students operating working with culturally diverse individuals as well as working within their own cultural groups. The essay provides guidelines to create a greater learning experience among students while attempting to mitigate the more difficult cultural clashes. |
