Item	Joint Seminar Symposium between APU and Wakayama University for Tourism and Hospitality Seminar Students
Details	Three professors of APU and Wakayama University jointly organised the first joint symposium for seminar students of tourism and hospitality major of the two universities. There are 12 students attended and presented their theses and research projects in a the symposium on Jan. 27 , 2019. Professors of thw two universities jointly provided feedbacks and suggestions to students' ongoing research. Students and professors of the two universities also had an opportunity to exchange ideas and research outcomes , methods in both formal and informal interactions. The symposium creates a common ground for knowledge , research and educational exchange between APU international students and Wakayama domesctic Japaneses students so they can learn from each other. The exchange through research activities contributes to enrich APU students' experience as well as provides guidance and direction for their theses. This activity is planned to be continue in 2019.
