事項	Active learning in large classes
概要	I have to teach at least four large classes with more than 200 enrolled students. This teaching load results on having assess more than 1000 students performance in a year. This is one of the greatest challenges at APU to design learning activities for large classes which meets two objectives: positive learning outcomes and active class rooms. Having resigned learning activities every year , results of course evaluation for my subjects always show higher score for active learning (Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality and the Travel Industry for Spring semester). I designed many activities in class , including video reflection , case studies discussion and in-lecture Q & A in every class so students do not feel boring during 95 minutes lectures. Comments on my lectures , students often wrote " it is interesting lecture" , "professor is enthusiastic" or "I learnt a lot from the lecture".
