Details	As an activity of my Japan Foundation Grant fpr aceademic and research exchange between Japan, USA and Southeast Asia, I invited Prof. Jeff Hanes from the University of Oregon and Prof Andrew Goble from the University of Oregon (USA) to deliver two workshops on Japanese medieval and modern history to faculty and students of APU. The workshops enrich students and faculty learning experience from world-class researchers, and approach to the USA tradition of Japanese studies research.
