Item	FIP for the development of CBL materials for lower-level students
Details	I worked a content-based language learning and teaching project , which involved research and investigation into different ways to grade content materials for students with lower-levels of English ability. Its purpose was to provide materials and a guide to creating them to help students develop academic English skills to take English-medium lecture courses. I was responsible for making a series of lessons on the Environment , suitable for Pre-Intermediate English students , who are eligible to take bridge courses at the university on completion of this level of the English Program. The materials focused on reading skill , specialist vocabulary building , discussion activities , guided reading questions , summary activities which are similar to the activities they would face in lecture classes. This project was designed as a template for all content teachers interested in providing extra scaffolding to students in their lectures.
