Item	FIP for the development of knowledge and improvement of Progress test materials and instructional methods as used in the Elementary and Pre-Intermediate levels of the English Programme.
Details	In this FIP project I led a dedicated team of English teachers. The purpose of this project was to understand the areas in which students need to become more proficient language users by analysing the data. It involved visits to other institutions and meetings with other users of test to determine whether our approach to guiding students could be enhanced. It also involved developing new strategies and materials for instructing the students and and ways in which they could be enabled to take control of their own language learning. This project has included a FD Workshop for language teachers and a series of workshops for students.
