Item Guided Learning Course
Details This course was designed to guide students through an independent learning project. It was created in response to an earlier attempt to introduce independent learning into the curriculum which students and teachers had encountered some difficulties with in terms of the level of guidance required. These guided learning materials are divided into a series of simple tasks which build one on the other , moving from vocabulary building to the application of this topic-specific vocabulary to related readings , audio and speaking activities. The materials included models to make it very clear to students what they should do , and give them a clear of idea of the standard required. Teacher reported that the materials were very easy to use. This is an important area of language learning not only to build autonomy , but also relevance and motivation.
