Item	FIP: Creation of the APU FD Program Based on the Experiences of the Minnesota FD Program
Details	The purpose of the project is to build a faculty development program suited to APU’s particular teaching/learning environment by building on the experiences of Minnesota FD Program participants. So far , 29 individuals (25 faculty members , 4 office staffs) have participated in the Minnesota FD Program since its inception in 2013. 6 faculty members will participate in the Program this year. This project will create a forum where Minnesota FD Program participants will share with the rest of APU faculty and office staffs what they have learned from the program and how they are applying their knowledge to teaching their courses at APU. The forum will aim at creating an APU FD Program through a series of open discussion on the challenges they face and the possible ways to solve them.
