Details Silicon Valley is the center of innovation. Hewlett and Packard who were students in Stanford University manufactured a high frequency oscillation machine at the garage and this is starting of Silicon Valley. In addition, new business about Yahoo and Google of the search engines were started by the students in Stanford University. In this way, Silicon Valley was made and developed by the knowledge in Stanford University. The purpose of this case is to understand the process how to lead the technology to the market based on the knowledge in university from the case of the Stanford University’s Office of Technology Licensing (OTL).
