Details	1.Based on the past students' evaluation of the courses , reviewed and modified the course contents. 2.To facilitate students' understanding on and interests in the subject matter , tried to make effective use of handouts , Power Point slides , photos , and videos. 3.To promote students' active learning , gave them the occasions to discuss in groups and present the results of the discussion , in addition to giving the whole class questions. Distributed a question/comment sheet in every class session.In response to students' questions and comments , tried to make my explanations more understandable. 4.Offered a field study course titled "Considering war and peace from Okinawa" in order to promote students’ interests in and understanding of war and peace.
