Details 1.Based on the past students’ evaluation of the courses , reviewed and modified the course contents. 2.To facilitate students' understanding on and interests in the subject matter , tried to make effective use of handouts , Power Point slides , photos , and videos. 3.To promote students' active learning , gave them the occasions to discuss in groups and present the results of the discussion , in addition to giving the whole class questions. Distributed a question/comment sheet in every class session so that students can submit questions and comments. Answers to them were given during the next class session. In response to the questions and comments , tried to make my explanations more understandable. 4.Attempted to promote multicultural collaborative learning (MCL) of students in one of my lecture courses , “Global Issues and Policies ,” which received the designation of a model MCL course. Presented my MCL practices in the report compiled by the university.
