■ 研究内容
My expertise lies in the sociological observation of globalized social challenges within specific geographical contexts. My primary objective is to uncover the mechanisms behind the emergence and persistence of global social challenges. Among the myriad of social issues prevalent today, I am especially interested in investigating the topic of spatial inequality. To pursue this research objective, I frame my study within the epistemological and theoretical framework, originally developed by Pierre Bourdieu. My most recent research explores how smart city investments can contribute to economic development and social innovation in the wider region, taking a comparative perspective on Japan and the EU.
